Meet Cynthia

I'm the owner and educator behind Rising Readers Literacy Center, bringing 13 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Education. I’m a teacher in New Jersey with certification in kindergarten to 5th grade, 5th to 8th grade language arts, and special education. I started Rising Readers to provide focused, individualized instruction that meets each student’s unique needs.

While classroom learning is so important, adding tutoring offers students the opportunity to target specific skills and receive the support needed to reach their full potential. Teaching children to read is my passion, and I’m currently continuing my training through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) to strengthen my work as a literacy educator. I’m committed to growing as an educator so that I can offer the best possible learning experiences to my students.
